HEMOSPONGE® Dental is a highly effective haemostatic packing sponge designed for use after dental extraction procedures. Its 3D matrix structure provides high blood absorbency and supports effective blood clot retention. With a neutral pH, it can be used with thrombin, tranexamic acid, or antibiotics for enhanced local effects. The cubical sponge fits easily into extraction sockets and typically requires no removal.
It gradually liquefies within 24–48 hours, offering patient comfort and reducing the risk of secondary bleeding.
